What is a Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)?
  • A Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) is a prerequisite document that must be submitted by taxpayers or bidders when applying for Government procurement.
  • It is issued by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDNM).
How can I obtain a TCC?
  1. Log in to the MyTax Portal (https://mytax.hasil.gov.my).
  2. Check your TCC status under the MyTax Status menu.
  3. If the status is “Compliant”, you may print or download the TCC.
  4. If the status is “Non-Compliant”, you must first resolve the outstanding issues before the TCC can be issued.
Does UM impose a fee for supplier registration activation?

No, UM does not impose a fee for supplier registration activation. UM charges a service fee for successful suppliers based on the rates set by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and subject to amendments from time to time. The service fee rates are as follows:

  1. Non-Term Contract (one-off payment) – A service fee rate of 0.8% is charged per transaction, subject to a maximum limit of RM9,600 for transactions valued at RM1.2 million or more.
  2. Term Contract (multiple payments) – A service fee rate of 0.4% is charged per transaction, subject to a maximum limit of RM4,800 for each payment transaction valued at RM1.2 million or more.
  3. The service fee will be calculated after deductions from the supplier's invoice, such as penalties, royalties, fines, and other applicable deductions (if any) for the transaction.
